Our staff can work with you if you have debt worries, and also to identify benefits you may be entitled to. We can help with housing and employment problems, or deal with queries about consumer or tax-credit issues. We can advise on legal matters, answer questions about immigration, and we have lots of experience on family and personal matters too. Basingstoke CAB acts as a one-stop-shop for advice. We can provide advice and information on a wide range of subjects including debt, welfare benefits, housing and employment problems.
Advisors can link you up with other services and agencies, help to write letters, complete forms, negotiate with creditors, make phone calls on your behalf, and sometimes represent you at tribunals.

Our Approach
Our advisors won‘t tell you what to do but will explain the options and the possible outcomes of different courses of action. You will be encouraged to make your own decisions and act on your own behalf. We will try to enable you to manage your own problems, by focusing on your specific needs and providing you with relevant and up-to-date information to resolve your problems.
